- Hiroshi goes to Sakae Kindergarten. Sakae means "glory, prosperity".
- On his badge, it says his name is Kinoshita Hiroshi. At the time of this publication, the Japanese wiki lists his name as Takashita Hiroshi, even though his name is just Hiroshi in the episode credits.
- Hayabusa means "falcon" in Japanese. There's a big bird in Hayabusa's head design.
- Continuity: We see a return of Yakumo's spells. Including his transformation spell is the spell he uses to make people confess things, which hasn't been seen in a number of episodes.

- During the ending theme, there's a guess the number of colored fireworks there are. The colors match the colors on the remote for TV's in Japan.
