• Gonza is reading The Living Dead by John Romero. Another reference to the famous director. He was previously mentioned in the episode about horror movies.
• Like many other guests, Miyaji Mao was on Shougeki Gouraigan. She played Rin on that show.
• In Japan, roller coasters are called zekkyou machines, which mean excitement machines (literally "scream machines"). The episode title is Zekkyou/scream, and the box is considered a zekkyou machine.
• Taniyama Naomi was also the suit actress for episode three and nine's Horror. She seems to do the stunt work for the female Horrors in this series.
• All the names in this episode are made up of three katakana.
• Kiera has a tendency to throw in English into her speech. She likes addressing people with the English word "you". She seems to get off on people screaming, hence the literal scream machine.
