• Kamen Rider Ryuki holds the record for having the most Riders in its own universe, with 13. (15 if one would count the pseudo Riders Alternative and Alternative Zero among them.)
• The Kamen Rider Delta suit, from Kamen Rider 555, holds the record for having the greatest amount of users, with 9 people having transformed into it.
• Kamen Rider Den-O holds the record for having the greatest amount of movies based on its universe with 8.
• Kamen Rider Decade holds the record for having the most Riders in one series, due to the cast encountering past Kamen Riders.
• Kamen Rider Decade also holds the record for having the most female Kamen Riders in one series. In total, 3 female characters transformed into a Rider form: Akira from Hibiki's world turned into Amaki, Haruka Miwa from Diend's World turned into L'arc and Natsumi turned into Kamen Rider Kivaara.
• Kamen Rider OOO holds the record for potentially having the most transformations available. Due to the nature of his Rider suit, he could transform himself into up to 128 different forms.

Kamen Rider Stronger

• First Rider to be able to transform to an upgraded version of his Rider form.

Kamen Rider Black RX

• First Rider to utilize a multiform system of specialized transformations.
• First Rider to own a specialized car.
• First Kamen Rider series to be adapted in the US.

Kamen Rider J

• First Rider to achieve giant size. (Unless one counts the Kamen Rider VS Ultraman special)

Kamen Rider Kuuga

• First Rider of the Heisei period.
• First multiform Rider to have upgrades for his base forms.

Kamen Rider Agito

• First series to use a dragon motive for one of the Kamen Riders. Agito is based on an eastern dragon.

Kamen Rider Ryuki

• First series not to have the Kamen Riders be clear cut allies of justice.
• First series to have truly villainous Kamen Riders.
• First series with Riders without the bug-eye visors.
• First series where the Riders do not have their own specialized motor cycles for most of the series.
• First Rider series to use bat, crab, snake, bull, rhino, tiger, swan, phoenix and manta ray motives for Kamen Riders.

Kamen Rider Blade

• First series to use a playing card motive.
• First series to feature a completely inhuman rider, as the previous inhuman riders were once fully human. Hajime, on the other hand, is one of the immortal Undead, who are unrelated to the human race.

Kamen Rider Hibiki

• First series that does not use the bug-eye visor at all.
• First series in which the Riders do not use any specialized vehicles throughout the entire series.
• First series where the Riders do not shout Henshin upon transforming.
• First series to have the main protagonist not to be a Rider himself.

Kamen Rider Den-O

• First series to feature train as the motif of this series.

Kamen Rider Decade

• First Heisei-era anniversary series.
• First series with a cliffhanger at the end of the series.
• First series to feature pink-coloured Rider.

Kamen Rider W

• First series to feature two individuals can transform into Rider.
• First series set in imaginary city instead of Tokyo itself.
• First series to feature a secondary Rider that can changed into a bike.
