  • Iron Gotchard looks a bit like the man in the iron mask. There might also be a reference to the manga/anime Fullmetal Alchemist which explored themes of forbidden alchemy.
  • Suzuya Daiki (錫屋大輝) Tin shop, big shine. Tin is a soft metal compared to iron.
  • Like Ichinose, Suzuya also wanted to become a great alchemist.
