- Space Sheriff's formula is often parodied as having hot-blooded, overmacho heroes that transform into metal heroes. An example of this is seen on Keroro Gunsou.
- In the Sentai parody series AkibaRanger, the posters in the background are for a parody Space Sheriff series.
