Used to go by just Ryohei 涼平 as a model and during his early acting days. Eventually, started going by his real name.
His debut was on Kamen Rider Ryuki. It was learned that he was a big Gundam fan, so he eventually got a part as the voice of the pilot for Calamity Gundam on Gundam Seed. His favorite Gundam character is Shirou Amada from 08 MS Platoon. Favorite mobile suit is Z Plus.
A member of Junretsu with fellow toku actors.
