• Chihiru buys a cake for Iyu from Semailles a real pastry shop in Tokyo. (Check out the English logo, it's the same.) In Japanese, Semailles is spelled Su-ma-i-yu, which has Iyu at the end of it.
• After Rose Amazon eats his girlfriend, he leaves a rose on her headless corpse as a sign of his affection for her.
• The team members of Team Fujio who are talking in cars are Captain Fujio and Nakajima (The one with the dog who later joins with Team Kurosaki). Fujio is the one who steps out and is instantly beheaded by Rose Amazon.
• Fukuda mentions that he is working at 4C because he needs to pay for his mother's surgery. In the last episode of season 1 (Episode 13) we see Fukuda with his mother in one scene.
