Name means "Brightness of the rainbow".
Normally, he's very stoic. He focuses on his work and doesn't generally understand other people. He's worse at listening to others even more so than Right, making him a good foil for Right. Since Right reacts to Akira in the same way normal people react to Right. Akira is very quirky and hard to predict.
Zalam
Akira's name when he was a Shadow. His power created rain which would prevent humans from having fun, thus creating darkness. Or so he says.
His name apparently is Arabic for "darkness".
