- No ending theme
- Joudansha Manga is based on Kodansha Publishing. Except Joudan is the Japanese word for "joke".
- Oni Sister suit actress (Shimozono Ayumi) is the dog walker. Taro the dog is played by her actual dog.
- The café where Haruka gets the sunglasses is the same set as Colorful from Zenkaiger. It's called Café Donbura which is short for donburako, the sound of something floating down water.
- Kishiryuuki and Kishiryuuking are references to Ryusoulger.
- When Haruka screams "my hero", that's also the name of the first volume of her book.
