Summary from TV-Asahi

A young man who survives the mysterious solar eclipse ritual. It was at this time that he received the henshin tools that let's him become the demon hunter Kamen Rider Wizard.

At a glance, he may seem easygoing and frivolous. He rarely shows his true nature. Because of that, many people misunderstand him. It bothers him and makes him feel depressed at times.

Perhaps it's because he focuses on fighting demons, but he's extremely indifferent to his daily life and is sloppy.

Loves donuts.

History

When Haruto was a child, he and his parents were involved in a car accident. He managed to survive the accident with no major injuries but his parents weren't as lucky as they died in the hospital. Sometime after that, he got mixed up in the Solar Eclipse Ritual. During the ritual, he didn't give into despair and thus didn't die and gave birth to a Phantom but it still exists inside of him. Haruto was about to be attacked by a Phantom before the Mage in White appeared and defeats it. He recognizes that Haruto has the qualification to be a mage and gives him the Wizardriver and the Flame Style Ring. The Mage in White also leaves a girl named Koyomi who is also a survivor of the ritual to his care. Haruto and Koyomi eventually find Wajima Shigeru, an owner of an antique store and has the ability to create Magic Rings for Haruto to fight Phantoms.

Six months later, he encounters a squad of cops led by Detective Daimon Rinko who were trying to stop a group of Ghuls from attacking a bunch of factory workers. After dispatching the Ghuls but he could search for the Phantom Minotauros, he was detained by Daimon Rinko. Escaping from jail after finding out that Rinko's partner was the Phantom, he fights Minotauros and defeats him but the process of becoming a Phantom was started on Rinko. Haruto enters her Underworld and defeats the Phantom Jabberwocky which makes Rinko no longer a Gate.

Personality

Haruto seems to be rather easygoing but when someone is about to become a Phantom, he becomes deadly serious.

A man who can use magic because he didn't give into despair. Has a Phantom in his body.

Catchphrase: It's showtime!

When he transforms the belt sings "Sha ba do bi Touch. Henshin." This is also played for Style Changes.

Items

Belt: The Wizard Driver. When a ring is put upon the hand print on the belt, he transforms into Kamen Rider Wizard. The left hand's transformation ring can be swapped to do four Style Changes.

Bike: Machine Winger. It's Wizard's motorcycle. It also acts as reins for the Wizardragon and becomes an extra skin for its wings when combined.

Weapon: Wizarswordgun. From the name, it can be either a sword or a gun. When Wizard opens the hand on the weapon, it can unleash a finishing attack.

Finishing Moves

• Shooting Strike - Gun mode's finisher. Unleashes multiple elemental charged shots at enemies
• Slash Strike - Sword mode's finisher. When used in a slash motion, it can emit a wave of elemental energy to defeat the enemy.

Styles (Forms)

The rings change the mask and the chest portions. He uses magic from each of the Elements. The right hand rings are reserved for casting spells. It works in conjunction with the left transformation rings. He can use them even when not transformed as Wizard, making the story more exciting.

Red form. When Haruto transforms into this form, the belt goes "Flame. Please. Hii Hii HiiHiiHii". It's considered to be the base form for Wizard.

Wizardragon

ウィザードラゴン

Summoned with the Drago Rise Ring. It is the Phantom that's within Wizard and thus it can be only summoned while in the Underworld. Without Machine Winger, it won't listen to Wizard's commands and needs to be control with Machine Winger. It can shoot fireballs.

Finisher: When the Kick Strike Ring is used, Wizard is able to transform the Wizardragon into a giant foot to destroy Phantoms.
