Knight attacks Ryuki. Yui manages to stop the fight before Ren kills Shinji.
Mirror Monsters wonder around the South Shinjuku Elementary school, ready to attack the students.
Shinji encounters the mysterious Kanzaki Shirou who tells him to defeat other Riders.
Shinji promises Yui that the Card Decks are made to protect innocents from the Mirror Monsters because it's the only thing he can do right now.

Sometime after meeting Ren, Yui learned from him that Kanzaki Shirou is related to the Mirror Monsters and the creation of the Card Decks.
When Yui and Kanzaki Shirou were young, Yui was often bullied by her classmates. Kanzaki Shirou was always there to protect her until one day he was taken away by the relatives.
