History

• He was originally an archaeologist who lost his treasure hunting best friend Mifune Shirou in Europe during the Deboss Army's initial attack when they were looking for a stone from a lost civilization.
• Surviving the ordeal, Ian was found by Torin and defeated the ZyuDenRyu Parasagun to become KyouryuuBlack. He originally was distant from the other Kyouryuugers until Daigo enabled him to overcome the trauma he suffered from Shirou's death and become friends with his teammates.
• However, Ian was unaware that the Debo Monster he believed to have killed Shirou was not the culprit, but was actually Aigallon until the truth was revealed.
• He is also a skilled tactician, often paying attention to details such as Debo Batissier's cavity beams as well as analysing the different abilities of the ZyuDenchi.
