Goshikida Kaito

Goshikida Kaito is one of the main protagonists of Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger and leader of the titular team.

20 years old at the start of the series (21 as of Episode 39).

The son of Goshikida Isao and Mitsuko, and grandson of Goshikida Yatsude.
Has an energetic, cheerful, happy-go-lucky personality.
Treasures his bonds with Kikanoids and his teammates.
His motto is Zenryouku Zenkai! (lit. "Full Power, Non-Stop!").

History

Zenkaiger

In 2021, after Kaito's world merges with Kikaitopia, he along with the other humans welcome the Kikainoids with open arms. A month later, when the Tojitendo appear to subjugate their world, he is one of the only people to stand up to them.

After he accidentally activates Secchan, who leads him to his parents' secret lab, he gets his Zenkaiger equipment. He goes to fight the Tojitendo and meets Zyuran along the way. Then the two of transform into Zenkaigers and form their team, Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger to fight off the Tojitendo, and save their world.

DonBrothers

An alternate universe counterpart of Kaito appears in Avatarou Sentai DonBrothers.

This version of Kaito is the owner of Café Donbura and is usually seen reading a book.

Kaito is shown to be reserved and soft-spoken, unlike his original counterpart in Zenkaiger.
He has no recollection of having Zenryouku Zenkai! as his motto.

After Kitou Haruka began work at Café Donbura, Kaito declines Haruka's request to wear Groucho glasses to avoid
drawing attention from patrons who are aware of the accusations of plagiarism against her.

Zenkaizer Black

Zenkaizer Black is an alternate version of Zenkaizer, but with shades of black and grey instead of rainbow sub-colors
that Zenkaizer normally sports.

Like his original counterpart, Zenkaizer Black can also utilize Sentai Gears via the Geartlinger.

First appearance: Ep 01	Zenkaizer's belt buckle. Used to keep storage of Sentai Gears The "V" symbol on the buckle is based on the "V" in the Super Sentai logo.
Geartlinger ギアトリンガー	Description
First appearance: Ep 01	A blaster used by the Zenkaigers as their default weapon. Sentai Gears are inserted into the Geartlinger to access powers of the previous Super Sentai teams from Himitsu Sentai GoRanger to Mashin Sentai Kiramager.
