Hikawa thanks Mana for using her power to catch Tomoko's killer. He asks her why she wants to keep it as a secret. Mana replies to Hikawa that her power was discovered during her young age, but her father told her not to reveal to anyone else; even Professor Misugi doesn't know about it.
Mana believes encountering Tomoko was a step forward to help Shouichi recovering his past. She contacts Tomoko related people to see if anyone knows about Shouichi and she is introduced to Tomoko's best friend, Shinohara Saeko. Coincidentally, Ryou follows the names and addresses on his father's notebook to Saeko as well. However, Saeko answers she doesn't know anything at all when Ryou questions her about her name on his father's notebook.
The police officials remove Houjou from his position of being G3 because they read Ozawa's report about him cowardly ejecting from the G3 suit and fleeting from the battle site. Houjou angrily speaks out "So once again, the hero of Akatsuki-gou ferry steps into the spotlight?" to criticize their decision. He insults Hikawa by describing himself as a better man to use the G3 System; the current Unknown murdering case is his chance to return as G3 again. When the Equus Noctis Unknown attacks, Houjou insists Ozawa to deploy the G3 System immediately even if they're disobeying the police officials' orders.

Kouno takes his break at a regular ramen-cart. He uses soy sauce mixing with oil theory to mention whether both Hikawa and Houjou can cooperate together. But, the ramen-cart boss tells him that soy sauce cannot mix with oil when cooking due to oil floats over the soy sauce.
Saeko has a hobby of collecting relics from a nearby lake. One of her labeling has the Agito symbol on it.
