Director's Cut

This episode along with episode 47 were combined together in this director's cut. It was released on DVD/Blu-Ray on February 21, 2012.

Notable Differences: http://s194.photobucket.com/albums/z189/takkynoko/Tokusatsu/Kamen%20Rider/?action=view&current=img041.jpg

  • Extension at the beginning of Date and Gotou regrouping from fighting Uva. Also a scene of Gotou using Caterpillar Leg and Date using Breast Cannon before Uva forces them to revert back.
  • There's no title screen or Count the Medals screen after the title screen. There's no episode title as well.
  • There's an extension at the beginning where Uva taunts OOO before starting attacking him and the fight sequence is extended.
  • New scene of Uva trying to keep the excess amount of power under control and wanting to taste. Maki appears and add even more Core Medals into Uva's body.
  • New scene of Date and Gotou are in the lab patching themselves up and talking to Kougami about removing the purple Medals within Eiji.
  • Eiji is buying some ice before it shows Hina and Ankh.
  • New scene of Date and Gotou talking. Gotou realizes his desire of protecting the world was a bit grand as saving individual people is hard enough.
  • Scene of Ankh transforming into his Greeed state and Eiji transforming into Putotyra OOO to fight the Trash Yummies.
  • Extension at the end of Eiji and Ankh charging towards Maki after being knocked down to the ground.
  • New scene of Kougami finishing his cake with his office and surroundings in disarray from the carnage. He created it for celebrating Eiji's birthday of grabbing desire again.
  • The ending sequence is the same except this time you can hear dialogue being said by the characters.
  • Instead of having "Thanks for supporting us for the past year" at the end, a black screen with "Life goes on, Anything Goes, Still on a journey" is displayed instead.

Trivia

  • The Episode Title is actually similar to the one in episode 1.
  • The regular OP sequence is replaced with just the title screen and has OOO in it.
  • Count the Medals after the title screen has the same background of Cell Medals instead of the regular background from the previous episode.
  • This episode isn't numbered as 48 but as "Finale".
  • Maki calls Ankh a bat but it's a pun of Koumori which means bat or opportunist. He was referring to the latter as Ankh protected Eiji from Maki.
  • Hina holds Eiji and Ankh's hands. It's similar to the end of OOO Wonderful but this time Hina is the one who initiates the gesture.
  • Perhaps the last bit of humanity in Maki, he gives his doll to Chiyoko which is dressed up as Maki.
  • Satonaka wears an orange leather suit with a rather female punk hairstyle when helping Date and Gotou fighting the Trash Yummies.
  • This is the first Heisei Kamen Rider series to have any cast from the following Kamen Rider series to appear in the last episode. In this case, Kengo and Yuuki from Fourze make a cameo at the end.
  • A ballad version of Anything Goes is played during the episode. Ohguro Maki thought the song would work as a ballad especially watching the series it progressed. The single was released December 7, 2011.
