The Kazaya Nobuyuki murder case

Hikawa brings up the murder case to Ozawa and Omuro. They learn the black ball which was kept hidden in the wall of the Kazaya house is an inside-out tennis ball while the content of the video tape is nothing but static. Hikawa questions Mana about her father's secret because he thinks Nobuyuki might possess supernatural powers before his eventual death. Mana barely knows much about her father's work, so she can't answer Hikawa's question.
Kouno spends his time in the café waiting for Kazaya Nobuyuki's companion to appear. The café master serves him coffee with a 10th anniversary souvenir cup. Kouno suspects the cup might link to Nobuyuki's companion since this man also brought one of the cups home on that meeting day. It is difficult for him to locate the suspect, assuming there were other customers in the café on the same day and most of them probably brought an anniversary souvenir cup home. A cup appears in the Misugi house; Taiichi accidentally breaks it as the whole Misugi family is about to celebrate Mana's birthday. Professor Misugi seems to recognize the cup before throwing the shattered pieces into the trash can.

Shouichi/Agito's approaching death

After getting stung by the Leiurus Acutia Unknown's tail, Shouichi has a metal object very close to his heart. He has only 24 hours left to live which depends on the Unknown triggering the metal object at any time to kill him.
The Leiurus Acutia Unknown attacks Mana again and Shouichi engages it as Agito. The Mysterious Young Man foresees Agito's death is approaching; Sawaki Tetsuya persuades him to spare Agito's life because he will be important to them at some point. The Young Man agrees and then uses his power to turn Agito's motorcycle into Slider Mode, thus enabling the Rider to defeat the Leiurus Acutia Unknown.
