Ranger Key Series

Ranger Key Series (レンジャーキーシリーズ) is a sub-line of Bandai's Super Sentai toy line that was first introduced in Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger in 2011. The line consists of small Super Sentai (and sometimes Kamen Rider) figures that transform into keys and can be used with various toys from the line. Due to the immense popularity of the toys, Bandai continues to produce more Ranger Key toys under the Legend Sentai line.

Ranger Keys are available mainly in three different groups: DX set, Candy Toy and Gashapon. The Candy Toy version comes with a sticker sheet and a ramune flavored candy pill, while the Gashapon version requires assembly.

Concept

Each Ranger Key represents a Super Sentai warrior. Once the key is inserted in the key hole of a specific toy, it will emit light and sound effects. For example, the Henshin Cell Phone Mobirates shouts out the specific name of the Super Sentai when the key is inserted. Weapons such as the Gokai Gun and Gokai Sabre emit "Final Wave" light and sound effects with any key. All DX toys feature the voice of Seki Tomokazu.

• Ranger Keys activate various Super Sentai roll calls and catch phrases. Other phrases can be activated with different four-digit codes.
• Asian release has the volume lowered to comply with noise and safety regulations on toys resembling cellular phones.

• Ranger Keys activate "Final Wave!" yell.

• Comes with Gokai Yellow key.
• Ranger Keys activate "Final Wave!" yell and corresponding color of light effect.

• Comes with Gokai Green and Gokai Pink keys.
• Fits one Ranger Key in buckle.

• Ranger Key Narikiri Set

• Gift set that includes the Mobirates and Gokai Buckle sets and Ranger Key Set 01.

• Gokai Cellular

• Comes with Gokai Silver key.
• Unlike the Mobirates, the Gokai Cellular's main sound effects are not dependent on Ranger Keys. Inserting any key on the bottom key hole activates the "Gokai Silver Gold Mode!" yell.

• Gokai Spear

• Comes with DragonRanger key.
• Ranger Keys activate "Final Wave!" yell.

• Gokai Galleon Buster

• Comes with metallic Gokai Red key.
• Normal Ranger Keys activate "[color] Charge!" yell when inserted in main key hole. Ranger Keys of uncommon colors activate "Special Charge!" yell.

• Comes with Go-on Gold key.

• Stores over 200 Ranger Keys.
