Monster of the Week

Shibuya Seitaka Awadachisou Higenaga Aburamushi - Scientific name is Uroleucon nigrotuberculatum. In Japanaese Aburamushi in particular means "parasite" or "aphid".

• When Akagi enters work, he has red tape on his uniform to look like the pattern for the DekaRanger's uniforms. He quotes the DekaRanger opening narrative and addresses his superior as Umeko, which is also DekaPink's name. Akagi works for Sasaki Pompoko Delivery which shares the same acronym as Special Police DekaRanger. In his AkibaRanger rollcall, Akagi sneaks in a recommendation for Banban from DekaRangers.
• The Chogokin Maskman's GreatFive Robo appears in a toy shop.
• Akagi tries to stop a thief while on bike. When asked to join the AkibaRangers, he remarks that this is similar to Ranru's origin story in Abaranger.
• Moegi remarks that she wants to be a strong yellow like Chisato-chan, who was MegaYellow.
• At the Secret Base Cafe, one of the waitresses is dressed as Natsuki from Boukengers.
