獣電戦隊キョウリュウジャー
Starts February 17, 2013.
Characters
ZyuDen Sentai Kyouryuuger
- Kiryuu Daigo / KyouryuuRed 桐生 ダイゴ/キョウリュウレッド
- 20 years old
- Partner - Gabutyra
- Portrayed by Ryuusei Ryou (竜星 涼)
- People call him King wherever he goes. He was in an island in the south seas when he encountered Torin and Gabutyra.
- Ian Yorkland / KyouryuuBlack イアン・ヨークランド/キョウリュウブラック
- 23 years old
- Partner - Parasagun
- Since the character is western, their name uses the first name, then family name order.
- Portrayed by Saitou Shuusuke (斉藤秀翼)
- From Europe. Uses English words frequently and is a bit of a flirt/badass. Specializes in guns.
- Udou Nobuharu / KyouryuuBlue 有働 ノブハル/キョウリュウブルー
- 32 years old
- Partner - Stegotchi
- Portrayed by Kinjo Yamato (金城大和)
- Strong, but clumsy. Nobuharu has a little sister and daughter named Fukui Yuuko and Rika. He helps to raise Rika since her father is dead.
- He works at the Jack-of-all-trades Marufuku.
- In Japanese, his nickname is Nossan ノッさん, a shortening of his name and -san. He doesn't like it because it sounds like ossan おっさん which means "old man".
- His partner Stegotchi lives in the arctic.
- Rippuukan Souji / KyouryuuGreen 立風館 ソウジ/キョウリュウグリーン
- 16 years old high school student.
- Partner - Zakutor
- Portrayed by Shiono Akihisa (塩野瑛久)
- Souji wears a school uniform and carries around a pole-looking object. His specialty is wielding blades.
- There's a scan that says Souji is 18, but the official site says 16.
- Amy Yuuzuki / KyouryuuPink アミィ 結月/キョウリュウピンク
- 18 years old college student.
- Partner - Dricera
- Since the character is western, her given name comes first, then her family name order.
- Portrayed by Konno Ayuri (今野鮎莉)
- From America, so she frequently uses English words. Apparently she's from a rich family, but she's also a student, and she works part-time as a maid in a restaurant? She lives in a mansion with her butler, Gentle.
- Her partner Dricera appears to live in an area that looks like Arizona.
- The katakana for her name is pronounced more like Ami. Maybe her name is an homage to the Pink Ranger's actress from Power Rangers?
- Utsusemimaru / KyouryuuGold 空蝉丸/キョウリュウゴールド
- Partner - Pteragordon
- Portrayed by Maruyama Atsushi (丸山敦史)
- A samurai from the Warring States period. He speaks in formal old Japanese with phrases like de gozaru at the end. Amy's nickname for him is Ucchii.
Other characters
- Wise Deity Torin (賢神トリン)
- Voiced by Morikawa Toshiyuki (森川智之)
- The humanoid bird-like mentor of the Kyouryuugers.
- Kiryuu Dantetsu (桐生ダンテツ)
- Portrayed by Yamashita Shinji (山下真司)
- Daigo's father who took him on his world travels with him as a kid. However, a decade prior to the series, Dantestu left Daigo with his amber pendant and a handful of money as he was going to embark on a dangerous journey.
- Fukui Yuuko (福井優子)
- Portrayed by Kinoshita Ayumi (木下あゆ美)
- Nobuharu's little sister. Since her husband is dead, Nobuharu helps take care of Rika, who thinks of him as her father now. Runs a place called Jack-of-all-trades Marufuku.
- Fukui Rika (福井理香)
- Portrayed by Tsunamoto Nanabi (綱本菜々美)
- Yuuko's daughter and Nobuharu's niece.
- Gentle (ジェントル)

- Amy's loyal servant, caring for her while her parents are in America.
- Rippuukan Genryuu (立風館源流)
- Portrayed by Haruta Junichi (春田純一)
- Souji's strict father and the current head of the Rippukan House who wants Souji to follow in his footsteps.
- Mifune Shirou (御船士郎)
- Portrayed by Ebisawa Kenji (海老澤健次)
- A treasure hunter and Ian's best friend from Europe.
ZyuDenRyuu
獣電竜 Electric Beast Lizards
- Gabutyra ガブティラ - A red Tyrannosaurus
- Name comes from gabu/bite and tyrannosaurus.
- Parasagun パラサガン - A black Parasaurolophus
- Name comes from Parasaurolophus and Gun. Becomes a gun arm when combined.
- Stegotchi ステゴッチ - A blue Stegosaurus
- Zakutor ザクトル - A green Velociraptor
- Name comes from Zakuzaku/to cut up and the end of Raptor. Becomes a blade arm when combined.
- Dricera ドリケラ - A pink Triceratops
- Name comes from Drill and Triceratops. Becomes a drill arm.
Deboss Army
デーボス軍
- Hundred-Faced Priest Chaos (百面神官カオス)
- Voiced by Sugou Takayuki (菅生隆之)
- The commanders in the Deboss Army appear to take their names and theme from the word KiDoAiRaku which means "The spectrum of human emotions". The kanji for that word is 喜怒哀楽 which is the first kanji in their titles, each kanji meaning Joy, Fury, Sorrow, and Enjoyment respectively. Also the sound forms their names. Ki in Kya/Ca, Do, Ai, and Raku becomes Luck.
- Chevalier of Joy Candelira (喜びの戦騎キャンデリラ)
- Voiced by Tomatsu Haruka (戸松 遥)
- Name is possibly a combination of Ki for joy, Lira, and maybe Candy.
- Character design motif is hearts.
- Chevalier of Fury Dogold (怒りの戦騎ドゴルド)
- Voiced by Tsuruoka Satoshi (鶴岡 聡)
- Name is possibly a combination of Do/Anger, gold, and Doru/dollars.
- Looks like an oni with nuclear signs on his body.
- Chevalier of Sorrow Aigallon (哀しみの戦騎アイガロン)
- Voiced by Mizushima Yuu (水島 裕)
- Name is possibly a combination of Ai/sorrow, and gallon, the unit of tears that he sheds. Eyegallon is another possible variation on the name, since he appears to have eyes all over his body, and it would fit his crying motif.
- Motif is an umbrella?
- Emissary of Enjoyment Luckyuro (楽しみの密偵ラッキューロ)
- Voiced by Orikasa Ai (折笠 愛)
- Name is possibly a combination of Raku/enjoyment, Luck, and Euro.
- Has the body of a patchwork figure.
- Zourima (ゾーリ魔)
- Foot soldiers of the Deboss Army
- From the Japanese word for Zourimushi, a species of unicellular organisms, and ma/demon. Going along with the money theme, the symbol on their chest looks like the cents ¢ symbol flipped around. Along the middle are the three masks of emotions.

Trivia
- The dinosaur themed Sentai are almost separated by 10 years. ZyuRanger 1992, Abaranger 2003, Kyouryuuger 2013.
- The show name is almost a perfect anagram for Kyouryuu Sentai ZyuRanger. It just has the r turned into a d.
- Kyouryuu Sentai Jyurenjaa
- Jyuden Sentai Kyouryuujaa
- If this were written in katakana, taking the first character of their given names gives Dinosaur (Da-i-no-so-a ダイノソア) Daigo, Ian, Nobuharu, Souji, Amy.
- And their family names spell Kyouryuu (キョウリュウ) which is the Japanese word for dinosaur. Kiryuu, Yorkland, Udou, Rippuukan, Yuuzuki, Utsusemimaru
- Toei producer Oomori Takahito stated that there's no yellow in this series because they wanted the characters to seem strong (and manly) because of the dinosaur theme. And they didn't want to have a male yellow since modern kids associate yellows with females. [1][2]
- The vamola in the show is from Portuguese. The correct way to write it should be "Vamos lá".
- The restaurant above the team's base is called Tiger Boy. This is probably a reference to TigerRanger Boi. Plus the sign is on a bright yellow background. This year's Sentai may not have a Yellow, but it's got one spiritually.
- Might be a stretch, but Amy being from America might mean that her name is a reference to the actress for Pink Ranger in Power Rangers.
Actor Trivia
- Orikasa Ai (Luckyuro) has also voiced Silva's voice on Garo.
- Nobu's sister is played by DekaYellow, Kinoshita Ayumi and Amy's Gentle is played by Shimazu Kentarou who has been in a number of other toku shows.
