- Minato is reading The Fog Comes, Again (霧が来る、再び). Apparently a sequel to The Fog Comes(霧が来る), Hasegawa Keiichi's debut writing credit for Ultraman Tiga. Hasegawa is also the writer for these shorts.
- Atropos keeps reference Meitantei Conan/Case Closed. The child with the adult's intellect and the "There is only one truth" are both catchphrases from that anime.
- In the preview, Atropos saying there'll be plenty of service is a reference to the way Misato ended the preview segments in the anime Evangelion.
- That line about a certain star spoiling something was about our star of the star of the star, Kan Hideyoshi (Geats). He spoiled that Ace was a reincarnating character in the production press meeting before the show even started.[1]
