Kurogane Spanner is an alchemist who transforms into the masked warrior, Valvarad.
At some point, Spanner graduated from the Alchemist Academy and earned a name for himself as an alchemist. He created the ValvaRad suit and armor on his own, a system separate from the Rider system used by Gotchard.
