- Mei's bow is apparently the legendary one used by Rishya Tribe hero, Rishianteus. This myth is completely made up for ZyuRanger, since the original Ladon was killed by Herakles. As a Rishya princess, Mei can use the bow.

- Ladon is another Greek monster. The monster was rather faithful to the myth. Ladon was a serpent-like dragon who guarded the golden apples. Ladon was killed by Herakles, who apparently strangled him. No mention of any arrows [1]
- The poison apple puts Mei to sleep. This plot is basically lifted from Snow White.
