Trivia
- During the appearance of "ghosts", Tusk mentions that the Japanese believe that ghosts appear in mid summer. This is a reference to the Bon Festival in which Japanese pay respect to the spirits of their ancestors.
- Continuity - The Jyumans realize they never hear about Yamato's parents. The one time they ask, in episode 9, Uncle Mario changes the subject in a hasty manner. The only other time we hear about Yamato's parents is when he gets in a fight with one of them in a flashback. This causes him to run away and get in trouble, which is where he meets the birdman.
