Tezuka predicts that Ren will be killed by Kamen Rider Gai.
Shinji and Yui investigate a masked man appearing at Meirin University during the night.
- They learn about the Matrix, a club at the university that develops and plays computer games.
In secrecy, the Matrix club students dress in black cloaks and wear iron masks. They use weapons to fight each other for the recording of a fighting game.
- Despite being a simulation for a video game, the club members involved in these fights are brutally beaten by one another.
Tezuka meets Shinji at Tea Atori. Shinji is delighted to meet another Rider who wishes to stop the Rider Battle. Tezuka predicts Shinji will encounter Kamen Rider Gai.
A quiet Matrix club student, Shibaura Jun, is the mastermind behind the fighting game. He is the rumored Kamen Rider Gai.
When Ryuki chooses not to fight, Gai defeats him and takes his Dragreder card away.
