Bond Between the Stars 天・星・の・絆 |
The Director's Cut of both episodes 31 and 32.
New Scenes
- Tachibana telling Ryuusei to stay calm. In response, Ryuusei says he only acts according to plans. Tachibana actually tells Ryuusei to calm down again when Ryuusei realizes that defeating Aries may not be enough to revive Jirou. This further enforces Ryuusei showing desperation and Tachibana's growing loss of control over him, leading to the betrayal.
- Tomoko saying that the Cosmic Switch is like the embodiment of Cosmic Energy. Kengo says that Fourze will be the perfect super human with it.
- Gentarou commenting that Kengo should have learned from the Magnet incident (since the Cosmic Switch didn't work, he assumed it was broken).
- Yuuki coming up with the idea to have Oosugi help in getting the club over to Subaruboshi High School.
- When they first encounter Yamada, Kengo asks him straight out if he's the Switcher. In the same scene Yuuki asks about Yamada's script writing, to which he foreshadows that he really likes it when people get into his stories.
- Yamada explains that he was lenient on Shirakawa because she was in the literature club, and assumed she would be an asset to his work. This explains why Shirakawa gave Ryuusei the book at the beginning of episode 31.
- When Kengo leaves with Gentarou's dead body, Aries initally orders Ryuusei to stop him. Ryuusei then attempts to transform and fails. Tachibana's speech about Ryuusei betraying him is longer.
- Yamada's scene with Gamou is longer and ends with him transforming into Aries and being given a mantle, formally inducting him into the Horoscopes.
- Yamada tells Shirakawa not to mess up the execution scene since "people only die once". Pretty ironic considering Gentarou comes back from the dead very soon after.
- After Aries is defeated, Fourze is seen returning with Yamada's unconscious body. Virgo then shows up and claims his switch before noting that she would wipe his memory after seeing how out-of-control he got.
Cut Footage for episodes 21, 22, 29, 30
The Blu-ray also includes cut footage from episodes 21-22, and 29-30. It's about 11 minutes of footage. Apparently none of the sound editing was done on this footage. In a hallway scene, all the background sounds are audible. Virgo's walking is audible, and her voice isn't processed the usual way either.
- In the episode 22 footage, Tomoko is seen playing with magnets, saying she's learning about Magnet States.
- There's even more footage of Kijima being a creepy stalker.
- One of the cut footage has Shun working out with some dumbbells. In a much later scene, when Oosugi is rampaging in Rabbit Hutch, he tries to pick up the dumbbell to throw it, but he can't lift it.
