Important things that happened

Wajima Shigeru creates a new ring for Haruto at the beginning of the episode. He says he can create the rings, but he doesn't know what spells they will contain.
Medusa finds a Gate and instructs Hellhound to bring that person to despair.
When a kid, Yuuta, falls down, Nara Shunpei runs in and picks him up.
Hellhound appears and appears to follow Shunpei and the kid. That's when Wizard appears.
After Hellhound escapes, Shunpei runs up and asks to be Haruto's pupil. After hearing that Shunpei's dream is to be a mage, Haruto rejects him, telling him to stick to his dreams.
Rinko finds the antique shop. She casually mentions that she wishes that she were a mage, when Koyomi tells her to never say that in front of Haruto. She explains that Haruto and her were Gates, but someone kidnapped them about half a year ago, on the day of the solar eclipse. It was a rite for creating Phantoms.
In Koyomi's story, she reveals that Haruto and her were the only survivors. She was carried out by the Mage in White. The Mage in White said that Haruto gained the right to become a Mage, and gives Haruto the Wizardriver. Koyomi said she lost her memory because of that incident.
It turns out that Shunpei is the Gate. When attacked by the Ghuls, he casts a spell and fire comes out of his hand. Haruto comes in and starts fighting while Rinko helps Shunpei escape.
Hellhound runs away on a bike, but Wizard pursues on his own bike.
