- Though Orion is both the name of the character and his constellations, their pronunciations are slightly different in Japanese (But both translate to Orion either way). The constellation is O-ri-o-n (オリオン) while the character is O-ra-i-o-n (オライオン).
- By the way, the Orion-gou ship uses the constellation spelling O-ri-o-n (オリオン号)
