The bathhouse is named Hironoyu which means "vast hot water". But Hiro sounds kind of like "hero" so it sounds like "Hero hot water".
It's likely that Akira recognized Coin Shadow as being a Shadow Kaijin from the very beginning, but didn't tell anyone since that's his character.
