Trivia
- This episode is the first appearance of Kinji's theme Shooting Star in the series. The lyrics were cowritten by Kinji's actor.
- Sealing Shurikens in Ninninger hands: 29, In Kyuuemon's: 1
- The demon sword Urasame is a reference to the demon sword Muramasa, which is said to require blood before being sheathed again, least the user commit suicide. (May actually be referring to the sword Uramasa from Shinkenger which in turn is a reference to Muramasa).
- Though we call it a demon sword, the proper term is Youto, which is a combination of Youkai and To(Blade).
- The kanji for Urasame 浦鮫 means "coast shark".
Out of Episode Trivia
- During the ending theme, there's a guess the number of colored fireworks there are. The colors match the colors on the remote for TV's in Japan.

- The title for the next episode in the preview was written in an old computer game font, keeping in with the theme of the next episode story.

- Oboroguruma (Yao Kazuki) was a major character in a previous Ninja Sentai, he was Ninjaman on Kakuranger. He also played the main villain, Doctor Z on AkibaRanger.
