A new transfer student from Kamen Rider Fourze.

History

Gotou Toujirou is a second year student at Ama High who recently transferred. He was an old friend of JK in their middle school days. They formed the music duo of Gene God which he played the guitar. Libra discovered Gotou's potential as a Horoscope with Laplace's Eye and gives him a Zodiarts Switch. With his newfound Horoscope abilities especially the one that improves talent, he asks JK to reform Gene God so that they would make it big. His first battle with Fourze and Meteor prove that he hasn't fully master his abilities and was saved by Libra. With the help of Leo, he was able to fight much better in the second encounter with Fourze and Meteor.

Gamou gave Gotou his Supernova ability in order to find the Core Switch. Gotou pushed JK to hold a live for Gene God but once the event started, he was upstaged by Gentarou who played JK's father's song to win him back. He tried to defeat Fourze but he was quickly defeated. After the fight, Gamou took the Capricorn Switch and had Virgo erased his memories. He is back to his normal self and friends with JK but clearly does not remember the time he spent as Capricorn.

Personality

Gotou loves rock and roll and plays the guitar but not very good naturally. While as Capricorn, his guitar playing is much better. He has a typical rocker personality and willing to pull any card necessary for fame and success. Unlike Kijima or Yamada, he seems to respect Hayami mostly it allow him to achieve his dream.

Supernova: Can use notes to find the resonance of anything, including the Core Switch.

Capricorn Zodiarts is able to make people out of control when playing with his guitar. Also he is able to improve talents of people with his playing including himself. He may have the ability to find the Core Switch since his guitar playing makes the Horoscope Switches resonate. In guitar, he uses his guitar to create sheet music to attack or bind enemies and also using it to physically attack his enemy. His music has a hypnotic effect on people making them go crazy to the point of exhaustion and even ignore the sight of a Zodiart.

Capricorn was given his Supernova ability by Gamou but the exact nature of it was not clearly shown. It may amplify his ability to resonate Switches in a greater area of effect.

Trivia

• Lyra is a lyre, a Greek stringed instrument. In Wales, it's known as King Arthur's Harp. Fitting with the guitar theme of this Zodiarts and the evolution into the musical Capricorn Zodiarts
• Gotou sounds sort of like the English word for "Goat". A Capricorn is basically a goat with a fish tail.
• Gotou's nickname is God, which is a reference to Kamen Rider X's enemy. Gotou represents the kaijin by turning out to be a Horoscopes, in the same way that JK represents the Riders by having a nickname based on Kamen Rider X's surname.
