妖怪カサバケ

This Youkai is more commonly known as Kasa Obake, which means "umbrella ghost". Although, as it's written now, it sounds like the Japanese phrase for "imitating an umbrella". Knowing the writer, surely this was an intentional pun.

It's a father's day episode, but it airs a week before the actual Father's Day for 2015 (Which is on June 21st).
- Kasumi says that she sent a necktie to her dad. Nagi hasn't yet, so Kasumi suggests getting him fingered socks.
- Yakumo doesn't mention getting something for his dad, nor does he appear in the episode with his mother. Maybe Yakumo's father is dead or no longer in contact.
Tsumuji's specialty is Tatsumaki no Jutsu which means Tornado Technique. This is a play on his name, Tsumuji, which means whirlwind.

Writer trademark, Kasabake says "mon ni hairun mon / I'm going inside". The first mon means "gateway, doorway" while the second is just an article used to mark a statement.
During the ending theme, there's a guess the number of colored fireworks there are. The colors match the colors on the remote for TV's in Japan.
