Important things that happened

• Kougami explains to Eiji about how the Greeed were created. The Greeed originally had no consciousness until one Medal was removed from the set of 10. Due to missing a Medal, the Greeed gained consciousness in order to fill in the gap that the missing tenth Medal caused. Using the tenth Medals, the first OOO fought the Greeed.

• Gamel briefly assumed his fully powered form when he had 14 Core Medals inside of him but due to not having his nine Core Medals inside of him, he was unable to contain the huge amount of energy.

• Mezool convinces Gamel to merge with her so she could take all of the Core Medals that Gamel possessed. She also assumed her fully powered form before a large influx of Cell Medals and two more Core Medals from Maki caused her to become a large monster that shared characteristics of both Mezool and Gamel. This Mega Greeed was defeated by OOO and the Core Medals it contained was divided between Kazari, Uva, and Ankh. Mezool and Gamel are out of the picture for now and won't return until for a long time.

• Kamen Rider Birth makes his first appearance in the TV series. He was previously shown in Movie Taisen Core and neither the two people who used Birth in the movie is the wielder. The identity of the wielder is shown at the end but his name won't be revealed until the next episode.

• Eiji asks Ankh why he wants Core Medals so much. Ankh's answer is that he wants a stronger, more complete body. He says that he doesn't want to split into pieces ever again. This statement has a deeper meaning that won't be revealed until for quite some time. Also, Mezool and Uva wondered how Ankh is able to revive as an arm as Mezool with her one Core was unable to maintain her Greeed form or even have one body part as a Greeed.
